Our recipe was inspired by elderflower growing wild around the Wemyss family estate in Fife, Scotland. After picking copious amounts to dry out and then test in our stills, we knew we wanted to created a light, floral citrus flavoured gin in the London Dry Style which honours our distillers past.
Our Master Distiller believes the perfect way to drink Darnley's Original is with a good quality tonic, lots of ice and garnished with lime, or to suit your palate.
Bottled at 40% ABV, this London Dry Gin has a long and dry finish and is perfect for a G&T.
For those who prefer to drink gin in a cocktail, we recommend our Original Gin can be mixed in a wide range range of well-known cocktails. Our favourite is a "Grapefruit Sparkler" with Darnley's Original Gin, Prosecco, grapefruit and a splash of St Germain elderflower liqueur.

About Darley's Gin
Darnley's Gin are small batch gin makers in Fife, Scotland who have won over thirty international gin awards since they started in 2010. Our Head Distiller Scott Gowans makes Darnley's Gin in a traditional copper pot still, who we've named "Dorothy", in the London Dry style which has been around for centuries. We chose to make our gin this way as we feel it produces a gin with uncompromising quality and flavour.
