Glen Spey stands out as a unique single malt whisky.

Their spirit stills, which are operated at a low pressure and are fitted with purifiers; these increase the reflux so more of the spirit is distilled again before it is condensed. The use of purifier pipe imparts a touch of light oiliness to the spirit to enhance a nutty essence with added texture.

Nose: Dusty oak, a hint of menthol, orange marmalade on fresh toast with an abundance of rich dried fruit.

Palate: Gentle flavours of moreish, juicy apricot develop intro dark red berries accompanied by melted white chocolate with figs & red grape in support.

Finish: Crystallised ginger, fruity sherry & orange peel, with a hint of bitter drying dark chocolate.
